The smart UV curing lamp for Duobond UV resin Impact-Filler

This UV LED lamp serves as an alternative to traditional UV tube lights. It is compatible with most common power supplies, operating between 6V and 12V. The tripod setup, combined with suction cups, ensures the lamp is securely fixed to the windshield at the correct distance, aligned with the beam angle of the special Duobond LED.

Optimal curing

The development of this UV lamp was based on the wavelength and amount of UV radiation required for the Duobond UV resin and Impact filler. The lamp uses a low wavelength and an optimized power supply design on the printed circuit board to prevent heat generation. Heat negatively affects the refractive index and quality of the cured UV resin, making repairs more visible and reducing the shear strength of the repair, which increases the risk of glass cracking. Additionally, heat shortens the lifespan of the printed circuit board. A built-in green LED provides a clear warning when the UV LED lamp is on. The green LED flashes every ten seconds, and once the optimal curing time has elapsed, the lamp automatically switches off. This feature limits the energy consumption each time the IQ-r lamp is used. The LED UV lamp comes with an adapter cable, allowing it to be connected to sources such as a cigarette lighter or a transformer with an optional cable of your choice.
